The previously published article “Political Participation in the Drafted Law on National Minorities” authored by our President and Senior Research Dr Svetluša Surová was translated by Csanda Gábor, Chief-in-Editor into the Hungarian language for the Fórum Társadalomtudományi Szemle (The Forum Social Science Review).

President and Senior Research of the Minority Issues Research Institute Dr Svetluša Surová has written a chapter “Targeting Marginalised Roma Communities in Slovakia: An Analysis of Official Measures During the Covid-19 Pandemic.” in the book The D-Word: Perspectives on Democracy in Tumultuous Times, edited by Christi van der Westhuizen, Siphiwe Dube and Zwelethu Jolobe published in Gqeberha by Mandela University Press.

This analysis brings a series of specific recommendations for addressing challenges faced by minority communities, promoting inclusive governance, respecting human rights, and social cohesion.

Our President and Senior Researcher of the Minority Issues Research Institute Dr Svetluša Surová is one of the authors of this publication. The publication is available in three languages English, Serbian and Albanian.
