President and Senior Researcher at Minority Issues Research Institute (MIRI) Dr Svetluša Surova gave an enlightening interview for the Slovak weekly magazine .týždeň discussing unlawful militarized quarantines of Roma settlements during the pandemic in Slovakia. 

Here Dr Surova talks about what preceded these quarantines; why they were illegal; who holds responsibility for it and why those most marginalized became victims of securitization.
